My sincere condolences to the almindo family on the passing of Burt.he was a close and special friend and I deeply saddened by his passing. Burt, angelo and I played many rounds of golf together and his humor and honesty kept us laughing and in political discussions. He will be greatly missed.

Burt's Family,
Easter Sunday I visited Burt in the ICU. He recognized me from St. Thomas Church and asked if I had Holy Communion. I did not but I checked about his being able to receive since he was in ICU. His nurse said he couldn't, but when the tube came out Monday, they would add his name to the daily Communion list. I was so impressed that some one so sick in ICU would ask about Communion.
I also wanted to ask him about Nancy since I visited her on Fridays for Hospice. It was a bit difficult to understand Burt and I didn't want to tire him, so I didn't. I was saddened to read of Burt's passing and then Nancy's. I was sorry I was unable to join you for Burt's services. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
