if tears could build a stairway
and memories a lane
i'd walk right up to heaven
and bring you home again
not enough farewell words were spoken
not enough time to say goodbye
you were gone before i knew it
and only god knows why
my heart still aches with sadness
and secret tears still flow
what it meant to love you
no one will ever know
but now i know you want me
to mourn for you no more
but, remember all the happy times
life still has much in store
and since you'll never be forgotten
i pledge to you today
a hollowed place within my heart
is where you'll always stay
It still doesn't seem real. Miss you so much! You've inspired me with your courage & strength & were all proud of the fight you had in you! <3 Love you!

Dear Moshier Family:
Keisha was a friend of my late husband Mark thru the wonderful programs at Gilda's Club. During his final stage of illness, she was kind enough to make him chicken soup.
I've followed Keisha's struggle to live with cancer from afar, and am deeply saddened for your loss. There are no words that will ever make it better, but I've always been comforted by this thought from the poet William Wordsworth:
We will grieve not rather find strength in what is left behind.
Peace & strength.

Keisha, I can’t stop thinking of you. You were one of the first people I met at Gilda’s Club – we were diagnosed with our cancers a week apart.
You struck me with your love of life, a spark. Your warmth and caring showed since the day we met, and since then I’ve felt connected to you.
The get-well card you gave me at the station as I left for NYC for my surgery brought me great comfort during my long hospitalization. I always enjoyed running into you at the station – we two survivors doing so well. You helped me in my cancer journey, and I hope that I helped you as well.
My heart is breaking for Hailey, for your mother. Keisha, many people loved you – that is clear. We will keep you strong in our hearts, and be here for your daughter, for your mother.
I send prayers of peace and comfort to your family. Know that you left a positive mark on the world. Thank you, Keisha, for being the wonderful person that you were.
With love,
Alice
