Lillian Schreiber Obituary

Schreiber, Lillian ALBANY Lillian Newell Schreiber, age 93, of New Scotland Avenue in Albany, died on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Cohoes, Lillian was a Capital District resident most of her life. She was an artist and a member of Congregation Beth Emeth in Albany. Lillian was married to Dr. William Schreiber until his passing in 1991. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Hopkins of Albany and a son, Mark Schreiber of San Francisco. She was also predeceased by her son, Robert Schreiber, as well as her sisters, Silvia Newell, Ethel Flack, and brothers, Albert, John and Arthur Newell. Private services were held on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Beth Emeth Cemetery in Loudonville. Those wishing to remember Lillian in a special way may make contributions to Congregation Beth Emeth, 100 Academy Road Albany, NY 12208 or a charity of one's choice.
