Charles Moskov Obituary

Moskov, Charles W. GLENVILLE Charles W. Moskov, 78, passed away on April 4, 2015 at his home. Born in Newark, N.J., he was the son of the late Charles Grenick and Stephanie Moskov. After graduating from Bloomfield High School in New Jersey he graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Charles married his beloved wife, Mary Louise on September 4, 1961 in Auburn, N.Y. Charles was always very active in his children's sports events and you could always find him cheering them on and supporting them in any way. He had a larger than life personality and always loved to entertain and be around his family and friends. In 1981, Charles and his family moved to Glenville where he worked as an electrical engineer for General Electric in Schenectady. He then went on to work for Power Technologies Inc. in Schenectady, which he retired from after many faithful years. Charles was also very active in the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville. He often would volunteer his time to the Prison Recreation Group with the church, during which he visited inmates in an effort to help them out. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Louise Moskov; his children, Peter (Susan) Moskov, Bethanne (Godfried) Moskov, David Moskov, Thomas Moskov, Matthew (Shannon) Moskov and John (Melissa) Moskov. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many friends. Memorial services for Charles will be set for a later date. Memorial contributions in Charles name may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Saratoga Road, Glenville NY 12302. Online condolences may be expressed at glenvillefuneralhome.com

Charlie was one of the most energetic persons I've ever met. In particular I remember entertaining clients with.Charlie at the Winter Power Conferences in New York City. The party would last into the wee hours of the morning with Charlie tirelessly leading the charge. But Charlie never forgot that the mission was to build client trust and that was Charlie's real forte. I'll always remember Charlie and his infectious smile.
