As the 4 youngest of the original 37 grandchildren,my sisters & I were able to spend a lot of time with Joe's generation,as well as their kids. Didn't hurt being Day & Diacetis, too!
So,when Nick & RoRo talk about the good times,we,too can remember. Going to Santa's Workshop in the days before the entire Northway was built. Joe's car gave up somewhere near Lake George. Lois & Mom got sick. We had 5 kids (Debbie was with us) & 4 adults in a car -- in the days well before mini vans!
Going to the house in Delmar, where a farmer's smelly cows went past the backyard every night on their way back to the barn. Or the stairs leading DOWN in that house that always gave me the creeps.
Sandy,Lori,Joe,Sharon & Lois, know that these memories,as well as your own, will remain with all of us always.
My deep sympathies~
Denise

So many wonderful memories as a child....back when we could all spend time together on each and every holiday....I miss those days. Uncle Joe you will always be remembered as an outdoors man and I will never forget the good times I shared with you, uncle Mike and my dad, camping... hunting... cutting fire wood...We always laughed, thank you... Rest in peace....

Uncle Joe,
Where do I even start? What us kids did to you growing up. How many times did I hide away in the car without you knowing it still we all got back to your house and we knew you weren't going to turn around and drive me back home. Or how many times I would come up behind you and say "dad, can I have 5 dollars?" and you would pull out the wallet and go to hand me 5 bucks till you seen it was me. I love you uncle joe, and will miss you!

Love,
RoRo
