Joan and family - Such a loss to the family and to all of us who knew him. I worked with Will for many years at KJHS office and a finer gentleman you would never know. He had an infectious smile. So many happy years at the Burgh. I will always remember the 4 muskateers - Will, Fred, Chuck and of course Nels. What a grand relationship they had. My sincere condolences to his beloved family.

To the Doran Family: I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Will. I had the good fortune of working as the Umpire on Will's high school football officiating crew for several years and I always had the highest respect and admiration of him. Will was not only a great football official but he was an even better human being. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers and will always cherish my friendship with Will.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". To Mr. Doran's family - one of the bright spots in my memories of the Burgh ('62) will always be Mr. Doran - he was my driver ed teacher as well as my assigned faculty member during my secretarial internship as part of my business course. The joke was that I had driving lessons the morning after he had bible study and his bible was always at the ready in the glove compartment just in case he needed it while I drove. God bless him for his many years in teaching and for all of his service to the youth of Lansingburgh and to the community at large. I will always remember him with a smile. He was truly a special person to so many.
