To the family of David Roger Dudley,

I first met Dave while practicing law in Troy during the 70's and 80's. When I left to become a Senior Attorney at the NYS Dep't. of Labor, I would occasionally run into Dave at the Legislative Office Building. As both a private practitioner and a government servant, Dave enjoyed the respect of everyone he encountered. He was skilled in his profession and quite personable in his relationships with others. Dave was one of the good guys and will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences on his passing.

David and I became friends over the past few years through work, and found we had many things in common. We both enjoyed talking sports, and had a common interest in horse racing . It became clear to me that he had a strong connection to his family and really loved his grand children. I am very saddened for the family's loss.
