I worked with Fr. Albert at St. Joseph's Church in the 1980's. He was such a joy-filled, spirited man who enjoyed horseracing and other adventures. We kept in touch by remembering all special occasions with cards. I laughed when I heard that his family nickname was Father Peek A Boo since we had named our cat the same name!
Fond memories of this delightful man of God who made South Troy a better place!

My husband and I would see Father Al when he came to Manassas to visit Ed, his nephew and my brother-in-law. Although we did not know Father Al that well, we found him to be a very nice and warm individual. We know he will be sadly missed by his family.

I never knew Father Al, my Great Uncle, much besides on the phone at all of our Holiday get-togethers. He would always call and we would pass the phone around the room to all of the adult family members. He was always so sweet and talkative to each and every one of us, remembering each of our children's names and asking how they were doing. He came to Florida to perform his Brothers funeral (my Grandpap Emil Pavlik) a few years ago and he was such a joy, beautiful smiles, kind words and graciousness always! I will miss him and I know he is at peace with our Lord, dancing and singing his heart out! I know Eddie (my Mother's cousin) misses him so much also. You will be greatly missed Father (Uncle)Al, but you will live in our hearts forever! Thank You for your love.

Fr. Albert was the nicest, most down to earth priest and person. He loved his parishioners, and had a special love of children. My granddaughter Natasha and I loved him. He always had a smile and welcome for everyone. We miss him but know he's in heaven watching over all of us. Our condolences to his family and to the communities of St.Joseph's and the Carmelites. He will always be remembered with love.

Father Albert is someone I will never forget. He was so special to my family. He was always there for us and he brought Communion to my mother every First Friday at the Eddy. I know he is with her in heaven now. St Joseph's Church and my family have lost a very very special Prist.

Father Al as we called him was a very special person in our extended family. He had a wonderful outgoing personality and was very generous with his time when we all needed him, including performing the marriage ceremony for my wife and I. We will miss him.

We will miss our Uncle Albert or "Uncle-Peek-A-Boo" to our kids. Yes we remember those old worn out shoes and I believe that everyone bought him a new pair, but he insisted on wearing those old ones. Cooked carrots and desserts for every meal and always laughing; we will never forget you Uncle Albert Pavlik!

Father Albert was the kindest, gentlest priest I have ever known. From working for him in St. Joseph's Priory, his visits with my father while he was alive to his marrying my husband Joseph and me. I will always remember and miss Father Albert for he has left an imprint in my heart and my memory.

Father Albert was a very special person in our lives. He renewed our faith in God when we were going through a difficult time with the loss of a loved one. He always had a joke to make us smile when ever we met him. He was always the strongest singer on Tuesday mornings Immaculate Medal Devotion. If anyone has earned the right to heaven, it is certainly Father Albert Pavlik. We know in our hearts that God has welcomed him home.

Father Albert was giant among men. It was in St. Joseph's Parish that I met Father Albert and my son made First Communion with him and then my son was honored to have Father Albert preside at his wedding. He was always there for my family thru happy times and thru sad times. I think of him every college football season and his Nitany Lions! I certainly was a better person for having known Father Albert. He was one of a kind and the Priesthood has lost a wonderful man. He will be sadly missed by many.

Fr Albert was such a kind man. No matter how busy he was,he was always there for you when you needed his help. I will always remember when he said the mass at St Josephs,he always told a joke or two before his sermon. I thought this was so nice.

Although Father Albert was far away in distance to us he has never been away in our hearts. A beautiful man that exuded warmth and peace. Fr. Al had a large family that loved him so very much and we are all so blessed to have called him our family.

I cherish that man. He took his vows and let me tell you we got him shoes but Sundays he still had holes in his shoes.
He was my paster in Bloomingburg. We had lunch with him in Troy. He changed a sermon once when my baby got upset saw the cross and cried they killed my Jesus. He said out of the mouth of babes. The rest of his sermon was to help her stop crying. He truly was a man of God

Father Albert always had time to stop and say hello. Such a gentle, kind, dedicated man who taught me about The Little Flower. God Bless you, Father Albert. You have touched so many lives.
