Joanne, Pat, Emmy, Linda, Oob & Families,

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mother.

We all have so many fond memories of Mr & Mrs Berndt growing up in Colonie. It seems like so many years ago, yet I remember it like it was yesterday.

They were an integral part in defining what it meant to be neighbors and live in a neighborhood. Something many of us have lost over these past 20+ years.

Many nights, I knocked on the door and asked Mrs Berndt to turn on the light so I could continue to shoot baskets under the lights on the basketball court. Never once did she make me feel like I was being a bother or inconveniencing her in any way.

She was a most kind & thoughtful person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I know that there wasn't a day, a minute, that Marge didn't know and feel that love. My prayers to you both, and my heartfelt sadness to all your family. Love Trish
