Jacqueline Burgess

Burgess, Jacqueline TROY Jacqueline Caroline Burgess, 82, of Troy, entered into eternal life on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her home with her loving son Brian by her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Holoboski. Jacque line was a life long resident of Troy and grew up during "The Great Depres sion". She left school early to support her family, eventually marrying with giving birth to and raising three wonderful sons. She worked additional jobs and made many sacrifices to support them over the years with never looking back on any regret with always looking forward. She had been a great support to her parents, siblings and particularly her son's. Eventually, years later she had retired from Geier & Bluhm after 27 years of service and Norton Company prior to that. She is survived by her three sons, Brian M. Burgess of Troy, John H. Burgess of No. Richland Hills, Texas, and Kevin E. Burgess of Canyon Crest, Calif.; she was the loving grandmother of Brian, Brad and Brittany of New York, Toby and Ryne of Texas, Jake and Sam of California. Also survived by her absolutely wonderful nieces and nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Troy where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family and friends are invited and may call on Thursday morning from 10:30 a.m. 12:30 at the Wm. Leahy Funeral Home, 336 3rd St., Troy.
