Wilmot, Janet O. FORT EDWARD Janet Otto Wilmot, age 94 years, of Fort Edward, formerly of Rensselaer passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was born in Albany and resided in Rensselaer for over 30 years, before moving to Fort Edward three years ago. Mrs. Wilmot was employed as a comptometer operator for the D&H Railroad and was a homemaker and the joy of her life was raising her four daughters. Wife of the late Geary Wilmot; mother of Barbara (John) Nichols of Huntersville, N.C., Kathleen (Michael) Faddis of Altamont, Sherrill Pronto of South Glens Falls and LeeAnn (Steven) Dobro of Mansfield, Mass.; grandmother of Suzanne Hunt, Kimberly Nichols-Mancinelli, Lori Rafferty, Amy Smith, Brian Smith, Jennifer Pronto, Christopher Pronto, Melissa Pronto, Megan Pronto, Nathan Dobro and Jared Dobro; daughter of the late George and May Kinnicutt Otto; sister of the late Gladys Daly, Eunice Martin and Ruth Collins; also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral will be from the W.J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home, 1700 Washington Ave., Rensselaer Tuesday afternoon at 12. All are welcome to attend. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Tuesday prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
