James Revette Obituary

Revette, James I. GREENVILLE James "Jimmy" Isaac Revette, 48, departed this earth suddenly on Thursday, December 19, 2013, after a long courageous battle with diabetes and the complications associated with it. Born in Albany on November 19, 1965, he was the youngest child of Isaac and the late Eleanor Revette. Jimmy was a lifelong resident of the area; he grew up in South Westerlo on Route 406. He attended Greenville Central School, and was a member of the South Westerlo Congregational Christian Church. Jimmy was a U.S. Army reservist. He went to Chauffeurs Training School and obtained his commercial driver's license, he drove trucks for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and motorcycles. He also enjoyed fast cars, vintage pickups and ATVs. He had a fondness for animals, his favorite dog that he was very proud to brag about was a white wolf-husky mix he named Snowy. He recently took up the hobby of raising game birds. Jimmy is survived by his two children, Jese (Alyssa) and Jamiee (Tyler); two grandsons, Johnathan and Jeremy. His siblings are Joseph and Denise Revette, Edward and Barbie Revette, Albert and Donna (Revette) Jaycox. Jimmy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Services will be Monday, December 23, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the A.J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 Route 81, Greenville. A cremation is planned and interment in the Greenville Cemetery at a later date.
