Childs, Patricia COLONIE Patricia A. Childs, 63, of Colonie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany on January 15, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Anne M. (Barron) Birmingham. She was a graduate of the Albany Medical School of Nursing. Patricia was a behavioral health case manager with Anthem-Blue Cross in Albany. Prior to that, she worked in the same position at CDPHP. She is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly (Nicholaus) Dean of Round Lake; her two cherished grandchildren, Aaron and Kaitlyn Dean, as well as her sister, Laraine (Robert) Clark of South Carolina; her nephew, Joseph (Jane) Fialka of North Carolina and several cousins. Memorial services will be celebrated on Saturday, May 31 at 12:30 p.m. at Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Road, Latham with Fr. Geoffrey Burke officiating.
