Dear Ellen, I was saddened to read of Tommy's passing. I remember him as such a kind and gentle soul. My mother loved all three of the Morrissey children so much and often reminisced about the years she lived with your family and helped care for you. I am so sorry that I will be out of town this week and unable to attend the service but I will remember you all in my prayers.

Dear Ellen, I am so sorry to see Tom's obituary. It means the end of the connection of the Morrisseys to the Albany/V.I. area, and I remember how at Jim's wake that seemed an important connection for you. I'm not certain I can make the funeral, but if I do, I'll certainly want to say hello -- and, I guess, good-bye.
