Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

To Edwin's Family,

TO THOSE I LOVE AND
THOSE WHO LOVE ME

When I'm gone, release me, let me go;
I have so many things to see and do.
Don't tie yourself to me with tears.
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you love.
You can only guess how much that
You gave me in happiness.
I thank you for your love you each have shown.
But it is time I travel alone.
So grieve a while for me, grieve you must;
Then let your grief be comfort by trust.
It's only for a little while we must part.
So bless the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away, for life goes on.
So if you need me, call and I'll come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I'll be near.
If you listen with your heart, you'll hear
All my love around you soft and clear.
And then when you must come this way alone,
I will greet you with a smile and a

"WELCOME HOME."

Ernesto and Daysi Somarriba and family - We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. From one set of parents to another, no words can express how we feel . Edwin’s time on earth may have been short but his impact was obviously far reaching. He will live on forever in the hearts of his family; friends and fellow Marines. Edwin was a good and true American with a strong spirit of family, community and country. The sudden and tragic loss of Edwin is profound to all of us and we weep with you and reflect on his goodness as we share this untimely passing of a wonderful spirit. Our sons were stationed in Okinawa, Japan together and our husbands work together. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! I can still hear the bass from his car coming down Magnolia Terrace. I know that there is nothing that can bring him back but may a smile come upon your face as you continue to remember what a great kid he was and how proud he made you. I grieve for the loss of one of the good ones...
