A beautiful lady. One of your legacies are the beautiful Bulldogs you raised. Proudly I had the honor of sharing my life with two. Both now are with you in Heaven watching over us until we meet again.

You are so right Mary Beth..when Joey did something, it was all the way. I never dreamed, I would not see her here..again. I have so many memories, and stories starting when you were 3 yrs old..she was pregnant with Amy, and me with Jon...we became fast friends...we done everything together for years. Jon was born..2 days later Amy, and we all remember you (4 then) was getting rid of those babies. And on goes the story..We loved our children, and we loved each other. I miss her being here, and I am so thankful that we will see all those, that have gone before us..again. Thinking of all of you..today. All my love, Barbara

I bought 3 bulldogs from Joann some years ago and they were the light of my life when everything else seemed so dark. I always enjoyed our long-distance conversations and her beautiful southern drawl and laugh. This Californian would sound like a Floridan for the rest of the day after I would get off the phone with her:-) I just found out about her passing this morning when trying to get back in touch with her. I am shocked and saddened, as in my attempted email to her I indicated I hoped to be able to call on her one day when I was ready for another bulldog and I wanted her to know what a wonderful new life I was living and how her bullies helped me get there. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. I hope she is right now loving on my two bullies already in heaven, Buddha and Lady. Thank you Joann for giving me the gift of knowing what a beautiful bulldog can do for your life!

Jim:
I just stumbled on the news of Jo Ann's passing. And I am in complete shock. I had no idea she had been ill. I bought two awesome bullies from Jo Ann and they are my cherished family. Jo Ann was always there to give me advise on my bully pups and such a nice, wonderful person.
She was taken too soon. Please take comfort that her beloved bullies has met her and led her over the Rainbow Bridge. My prayers are with you and your family. Susan Burkhardt, Round Lake Beach, IL.

John 14:1-4 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going.”
