To Marvin's family, I am so saddened to learn of the loss of Marvin. My Real Estate office files are full of surveys done by Marvin and his crews. He was always our favorite and I always tired to place our survey orders with him. Seems like not so long ago I even ran into his crews doing the survey for a refinance on my neighbors' home, and we all chatted about the wonderful years of real estate and surveys and how our paths always crossed. My sincere thoughts and prayers to his family and friends. He will certainly be missed by so many.

Daryl, we are so saddened by the loss of your father. There are many great memories of him, and his dog 88; and lets not forget his Irish setter. I am sure others will get a chuckle remembering those days! I also will not forget his days in church, the way he shared his faith was beautiful. His hearty laugh, welcoming smile and of course his great pride in you will always be what I will cherish about Marvin.
We love you,
Aunt Patti, Uncle Robbie and Family

I love you Uncle Marvin. I miss you so much already. You were a very constant in my life and did so much for me. Whether it was seeing me in the hospital cause I was scared, helping me with money or giving me a key to your house in case I needed a place to stay. You always looked out for me and for that I will be greatful. I listened to everything you taught me and I am a better person today because you were in my life. I love you and thank you for being my uncle, my friend I could tell anything to and my partner in crime. Words cant explain how much I will miss you

I have not been a member of the Banks family for quite some time but have stayed in touch with him throughout the years. He was warm and caring and as we all know “The life of the Party”.
He had such a wonderful relationship with my daughter Jennifer Banks (Julian's daughter) and for that I am every so grateful. He was always like a second father to her. He taught her to be strong, how to fight, and take care of herself.
To all us that loved Marvin and especially you Daryl; my heart breaks for you and your family. Daryl, you were his pride and joy.
This picture was taken in the early 80's when Jennifer's Dad and I lived on Kona Ave. Julian and Marvin were inseparable, full of energy and fun. I truly miss those memories.
So when you hear those whispers in your wind, listen, he can hear you. It is amazing, after two years since my beautiful husband passed away 2 years ago during this holiday season, I still hear him and he answers.
I will be there Saturday honor the incredible man.
