Alexander Paulsen Obituary

PAULSEN Alexander H. Paulsen, 79, passed away Feb. 28, 2011. Born Oct. 18, 1931 in Long Island, NY. He was an US Air Force Korean war veteran, an air traffic controller in Hilliard FL; he retired from the City of Jax, Real Estate Div. Alex was a member of Sidetrackers; an avid outdoors man and nature lover, he enjoyed camping, hiking, bicycling, and canoeing; he was a member of many social clubs and civic/environmental orgs. He leaves behind four sisters, one brother, three children; son, Alex E. Paulsen (Flor), daughters Linda Dick (Greg) and Jackie Mathis (Bobby), eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held at Eternity Funeral Home 4856 Oakdale Ave., Jax, FL on Fri., Mar. 4, 2011, 3pm with viewing at 2pm.

Please let angel's watch over grandpa Alex. I only got to see him once.We hoped we would see him one day up in heaven. We (mommy Flor, daddy Alex, and Yuri daughter of them)wished that we would make it on time from our trip from the Philippines to see him before he died.
