Mitchell was always a Soldier
But often a Warrior too.
He was a Friend to all who befriended,
Never deceitful always true.
Life was good to Mitchell because,
Mitchell was real good to Life.
I salute you Soldier,
As you pass in review.
The flags are still flying,
Red, White and Blue.
The drums are beating louder these days than ever before - It's true.
And today, I think that I can hear the melody of the Euphonium a-playing too.
we shall listen to the music Brother,
While you Stand at Ease (Soldier).
For Mitchell the War is over.
But we can't remove our armor,we must take the battle from here.
Thank you for your Service,
and for your Friendship too.

I again offer condolences on behalf of the Florida A&M University Band. please excuse the lack of capitals in my original message. when it was sent all caps were in place. it appears that the editing did not work or my technical ability is just limited.

mitchell cambell was a talented musician in addition to being a fine friend and gentleman. i have so many fond memories of him at florida a&m university and new stanton senior high school.
mitchell was a virtuoso euphonium player who always
set high standards in high school. any time mr. mac went down the line "mitch" would play with excellent tone and technical facility. he was also a fine marcher and musician as a member of the "marching 100"
as mitchells band captain at new stanton, and his drum major at famu i wish to express my deepest sympathy to the family. may his soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon him. as director of bands at florida a&m universty, l also offer condolences on behalf of the students and staff in the department of music.

Mitchell Campbell was an excellent musician. I remember him from James Weldon Johnson Jr. High School and New Stanton Senior High School Bands. He had a warm smile and he was always very polite and sincere. It has been a pleasure knowing him and remembering him with admiration.

To the Family of Mitchell Campbell. Many years have passed since I've seen or talked with Mitchell. He was always a very serious, dedicated and talented young man. We were in the band together at New Stanton and housemates for a couple of semesters while at FAMU. After we both served on active duty in the US Army we served also with the US Army Reserves in the DC area. Mitchell was an outstanding Officer and a true Gentleman in every way. My sympathy & condolences to his entire family.

Mitchell Campbell was a gentleman. He was thoughtful and so protective of those he cared about.
Mitchell was talented and as a young man, his intellect reached far beyond his years.
Mitchell was an unforgetable friend, who will forever be remembered.
My condolences to his beloved family.
