Ms, Eartha , Adrian & the Entire family, I just found out last night 12/08/2011 that Tickey Passed away, believe me my heart is deeply sadden by this lost, Adrian I am here for you, you have been like a son to me every since you and Chris became friends, I am sorry I was not able to be there for you during this difficult time sorry we lost contact since I moved to Va, but now that we have reconnected I am here for you and Pat if you need me. Ms Eartha, This is Chris mother April, although I have never met Tickey in person, she and I talked on the phone many times even when she would go into the hospital we would talk, she took my son in when he had no place to stay in Jacksonville after I left and for that i will always be grateful & will Love her , she treated him just like he was her son just as I treat Adrian as if he is my son. So because of the bond that Chris and Adrian share we are Family so if you need anything please do not hesitate to call me Adrian has my number I live in Virginia but I am only a 81/2 hour car ride away and I don't mind driving so please call me and I will be there ok thank you to you and your family for embracing my son when I left Jacksonville. I will keep you and the Entire family in my Prayers Tickey beat the odds with her illness she fought a Good fight , she finished he course get peace in knowing she will not longer suffer at the hands of her illness any more, she in resting in the arms of the Lord. I will continue to stand in the Gap for you with my offering of prayer for you Ms Eartha, Adrian, Pat, & the Entire family, just remember God is to wise to make a mistake and to Just to be unfair & to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, God Loves you but greater is his Love. Ms Eartha,
You may not remember me but I grew up in Denmark and playing baseball at Hicks field so I remember you very well. My fondest members are when Timmy, Tickey, Ceda and Joe Reappy came to Denmark for summer vacations. I have been searching for Tickey since we last spoke in '92 when i was stationed in Jacksonville. I am numb and blown away that I am finding her just now and this way. Heart-broken I am to receive such news but my faith in God gives me comfort. She was my friend and even though I couldn't find her she remains my friend. I pray for your family Ms. Eartha. Tickey was one of my favorite people ever. I'm sure she continued to leave a path of beautiful smile as she continued to touch the hearts of those she traveled near. I am Blessed, Broken but God does Heal. Please accept my condolences and forgive me for not trying hard enough to find her all these years and reach out to her. I should have never lost my friend. Should you need anything please let me know. I am standing in the gap for you and your family and make myself available to you.

It was my honor to work with "Ticky" Octavia during my stay in Jacksonville. Always a smile and never a complaint. May the Father wrap His arms around you and give you peace beyond understanding. We will meet again someday where there is no pain or suffering. Praying for you during your time of sorrow.

It's been a few years since our last contact but Ticky was my hair stylist for 10 years. While I am saddened to hear she is no longer with us, I know that God knows best. There is no more suffering and pain to endure. May the blessings of the Lord be with this family as they deal with this great loss.

Dear Eart, Joe, Adrian & Patrick,
I remember so fondly being the 'big sister" to Ticky, Joe & their cousins during the summer when you came to visit your grandma and grand-daddy in South Carolina. Swimming, the movies, baseball games, picnics, the ice-cream man, Hicks field, dogs, church, giggles, laughs and smiles to last a life time. I am so happy that she was a part of my life - as she was the cutest and sweeted little girl one could ever meet. Always close to my heart. The last time we spoke (last summer) we laughed for over an hour about those precious and happy times! Our lives were full of innocence & pure joy!
Eartha thank you for sharing & raising such a special little girl - who became a wonderful young woman. Joe "Reappy" you were always the greatest little brother. Andrian & Patrick you were blessed with a special Mom. Ticky was a precious one and they are the hardest to let go-if we ever can!
I am always a call away if you need to talk or laugh or cry. Rest in peace my precious little sister for you will be dearly missed.

I know that you and your sister were very close and that her passing will be very hard for you. I'm sure that you are thankful for the many wonderful years you had together.
