Ora Beatty Obituary

BEATTY Ora Elizabeth Beatty, age 91 of Jacksonville, FL died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at St. Anne's Extended Health Care in Winona, MN. Ora was born July 19, 1924 to William Sr. and Mary McGraw in Jacksonville. She married James Franklin Beatty Jr. on April 29, 1944. Ora was a kind woman who never had a bad thing to say, but always got her point across. She was very active in Murray Hill Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville for many years. She moved to Winona in 2011 and resided at St. Anne's. Ora is survived by many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Jr; brother, W. Emmett Jr; sisters, Mary Carolina Brodmerkel Carol (Edward T. Sr;); Dorothy Brodmerkel (George T); Isabel Morrison Ikey (George E.); Wilding Schroeder (E. Theodore Ted). A funeral service will be held Friday, 2PM, April 15 at Murray Hill Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville, FL with a visitation starting one hour prior. A memorial service for Ora will be held at St. Anne's Chapel in Winona, MN on Saturday, April 23 at 1:30 PM. Interment Jacksonville Memory Gardens.
