Dennis Eugene Correll

CORRELL Dennis Eugene Correll, 64, born on May 5, 1944 in Charlotte, NC, passed away November 17, 2008 in Lake City, FL. Mr. Correll graduated from South Mecklenberg High School and entered the United States Navy. Mr. Correll served his country proudly in the United States Navy and retired after thirty years of decorated service as CWO-4. Dennis was a member of the V.F.W., the Fleet Reserve Association, the D.A.V., and the American Legion. Mr. Correll was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Mildred Morton Correll. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Linda Correll; two sons, Robert Correll (Anissa), and John Correll (Melanie); daughter, Denise Correll; four brothers, Walter C. Correll, Billy W. Correll (Nickola), Charles R. Correll (Pam), and Larry R. Correll (Angela); three sisters, Kathey C. Cox (Lewis), Carol C. Poston (Kenneth), and Connie C. Frantz (Michael); two grandchildren, Chloe and Christian Correll, and many other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. Funeral services in celebration of his life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Chaplain Williams of the United States Navy officiating.
