Agnes Connell Obituary

CONNELL Agnes Connell, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on February 17, 2012, at age 90, surrounded by her loving family and caregivers, Wally, Geraldine and Joey. She was born in 1921, in Jacksonville, FL, to Charles and Aletha Geoghagan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Rema Connell. She is survived by 5 children, Wally Honeycutt, Geraldine Johns, Ernestine Gharis (Fred), Lucile Lloyd (Ed) and Henry R. Connell, Jr.; 12 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be TODAY, at Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel, from 6 until 8 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville. Prayers for the family in this time of loss. What an amazing time is going on in Heaven! I take comfort in knowing that Bill's mom, Cora, Aunt Annie, Aunt Ilah, Uncle Rema and all the rest of the famiy were there to welcome your momma with open arms. God Bless you all.

Ms. Walley and the entire Family. I am so sorry for your loss of your Mother, Grand mother, and Great Grandmother. But please know that she is resting peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus Christ.
