Timothy Frey, 45, born December 10, 1971 in Port Jervis, NY, passed away on June 1, 2017 at St. Anne Hospital, Toledo, Ohio. Timmy grew up in Yulan, NY and attended Eldred Central School where he made many lifelong friends and learned to love the outdoors.
Timmy was an avid fisherman and camped out whenever he had the chance. When he started working he began to learn the construction trade and ended up being a wonderful carpenter. He would go to a friend's house for a visit and end up building a picnic table for them.
Timmy would walk into a room and everyone there would be his friend before he walked out. He was generous with his time and talents to anyone that asked and many that didn't. But his biggest love in his life were his children and he would do anything for them. Some of his favorite times were cooking up a giant breakfast for all of them on a weekend morning and just spending the day with them.
Survivors include his children, Kayla, Alyssa, Hanna, Tyler, Logan and Charlie and their mother Kelly Jones; his loving parents, Thomas and Patricia Frey of Middletown, NY; brother, Keith Frey (Lisa) of Monroe, NY; sister, Jennifer Ferguson (Michael) of Statesboro, Georgia; aunts, Ginger Ferraro (Kurt), Ronnie Maggio; uncles, ChrisFrey (Deb); Mike Frey (Gena) John Maggio and Jimmy Maggio (Michelle). Also, surviving to mourn are nieces, Stephanie, Alyssa and Arabella and many cousins along with friends, especially his best friend, Chuck Reynolds.
Timmy was predeceased by grandparents, Vincent and Patricia Maggio and Everett and Mary Ann Frey; along with uncle, Vinny Maggio; and brother-in-law, Kevin Bradford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, June 9th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown, NY 10940. Followed by a Celebration of Life. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery at the family's convenience.
