Douglas CAPERTON Obituary

CAPERTON Douglas Scott Douglas Scott Caperton, 49, of Toledo, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in his home. He was born February 23, 1961 in Toledo to Farris and Barbara (Rollman) Caperton. Doug proudly served his country in the US Army and he was employed in the construction field. He is survived by his father of Toledo; his grandmother, Lillie Mae Dobson of Toledo; his children, Devon, Trista, and Tara Caperton, all of Florida; a granddaughter; his brothers and sisters, Nicole, Donna, Shelly, Chasidy, and Jason, and also several nieces and nephews, with a special bond with his niece, Kailee, and nephew, Zackary. Doug will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Sadly, his mother, Barbara Rollman, and brother, Ronald, preceded him in death. A memorial gathering and visitation to celebrate Doug's life will be held at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Road, from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, at 7 p.m. There will be a offering of words of comfort and inspiration along with a closing prayer. Doug loved life and lived it his own way, and left all who knew him with great memories along the way.
