George KRASULA Obituary

KRASULA George R. George R. Krasula, 87, of Perrysburg, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Kingfston Residence of Perrysburg. He was born in Rossford, Ohio on August 4, 1924, to Paul and Mary Ann (Korcek) Krasula and was a graduate of Haskins High School. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Army Air Corps. He married Lois M. Hill on November 13, 1948, in Kentucky and she preceded him in death on September 26, 2010. He began his career with Kroger as a meat cutter and became Zone Manager up until 1967 when he moved with his family back to the Toledo area. He then became a real estate agent and owned carry out stores in Perrysburg and Haskins. He is survived by his daughters, Pamela (Donald) Saam, Patricia (Gary) Harmon, and Debra Dempsey; son, George (Gwen) Krasula; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Killian, and several nieces and nephews. George was also preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul, Frank, John, Joe, and Andrew Krasula, and sisters, Anna Mary Krasula, Mary Jagos, and Kate Jones. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Perrysburg (419-874-3133). Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio and condolences may be made online to the family at www.witzlershank.com

Pat and Pam,I have known you since you were born and we ran around with your mom and dad until we all went our separate ways. Sorry to hear of George's passing. I did get to see your mom several years ago when I came back to P-burg for a visit. My deepest regrets.
