Audrey Klein Obituary

Audrey Dunsmore Klein, 94, of Toledo, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Goerlich Center, Sylvania. Born January 24, 1912, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was the daughter of Elvin R. and Selema A. (Teufel) Frost. She married Norman D. Dunsmore August 10, 1940, in Toledo, and he passed August 17, 1980. Audrey married Carl W. Klein October 5, 1988, in Florida, and he passed November 4, 2005. A podiatric office assistant, she worked for her father, Dr. Frost, for 37 years.
Audrey was a member and volunteer at Collingwood United Methodist Church. She was a people person and also enjoyed traveling, gardening and song birds.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Dr. Floyd Frost, Dr. Lawrence Frost and Jack Frost. Audrey is survived by her two nieces, Jill Frost Merke of Monroe, Michigan and Suzanne Frost Robinson; nephew, Jan Frost and grand-nephew, Jeffrey Robinson, all of Modesto, California.
Services will be held Thursday, March 16, 2006, at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in Audrey's memory may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by Boyer VanWormer Scott Funeral Home, 419-473-2805.

Audrey was a zippy and fun lady. I will always remember her stories and lively style. She and my grandfather Carl Klein had a wonderful companionship in their senior years. She will be missed.

Just wanted to send my sympathies to Audrey's family during this sad time. She was a lovely woman, full of life, and was a nice companion for my grandfather (Carl W. Klein, Jr.) in his last years. Her loving spirit will be missed. God Bless.

Audrey was a fine companion to my father in his later years. She was a friend of the family's when my sister and I were girls. She and my Dad had a few very happy years and she was a smiling, kind and loving person. She will be missed.
