Kimberly Ann



Kimberly Ann Wurst, age 40, formerly of Haskins, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, after a 7 year battle with cancer. She was born January 9, 1972, in Toledo to Raymond and Barbara (Greene) Tanner. Kim was a graduate of the University of Toledo and the Police Academy. She was employed by the Weston, Haskins, Portage and West Mill Grove Police Departments. Kim enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Pirates. She was an extra on the t.v. show "Army Wives." She also enjoyed coaching her daughter's softball team and traveling. Kim loved people, but the greatest love of her life was her children.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, David Wurst; children, Brittany, Cameron, and Preston Wurst; mother, Barbara (Craig) Dodson; grandmother, Helen Tanner; siblings, Garland (Lisa) Penley and Greg (Jill) Penley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, LeRoy and Sharon Wurst, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A Graveside Service will be held Friday, December 28, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at Weston Cemetery Euler and Ban Tassel Roads in Weston, Ohio. The family requests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
