Howard Abernathy Obituary
Howard
Howard Abernathy, 68, passed on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Howard worked as an IT Analyst for the State of Ohio and retired from Owens-Illinois, after 30 years of service. He was an avid photographer and car aficionado.
Howard was preceded in death by first wife, Cynthia Harris-Abernathy; father, Edward Abernathy; brother, Paul Abernathy; sister, Anita Davis, and brother-in-law, Archie Williamson.
He is survived by wife, Sheryl; children, Lucretia (Robert) Lott, Howard II, and Shane (Angel); mother, Reba; sister, Linda Williamson; brother, Neal, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 4 p.m. and Home going service at 5 p.m. at The Tabernacle of Praise, 1217 Prouty Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43609. Services are entrusted to The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel.

My sincere condolences to Howard's family. He was always so optimistic even in the darkest hour. May you find comfort in knowing how many lives he touched and made better. I'll miss his calls just to "check in".
