Daniel Andrew Boray

Daniel Andrew Boray, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at his home in Carol Stream, Illinois. He was born on November 6th, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. Daniel was a 1966 graduate of Waite High School before serving in the Air Force during the Vietnam era and going to work for United Airlines as both a steward (later flight attendant) and a flight attendant safety instructor. He married Anne Dombrowsky in 1988. Dan was an accomplished musician, playing the drums in his band "The Four Dimensions" during high school. He loved skiing, fishing, traveling, playing, listening to music, watching movies, and laughing and telling jokes. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Dan is survived by his son, Connor Boray; cousin, Rose Drew (nee King); cousin and godson, Shane Drew; nieces Brooke Boray and Kacy Boray. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth "Kardy" Boray (nee Kardos); father, Joseph Stephen Boray Sr.; brother, Joseph Stephen Boray Jr.; sister-in-law Denise Boray; aunt, Mary "Mitzie" King (nee Kardos); and uncle, Russel King.

A memorial service will be held at Calvin United Church of Christ, 1946 Bakewell St., Toledo, Ohio 43605, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 11 a.m., with a memorial gathering for friends and family from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow in North Oregon Cemetery. The fellowship luncheon will be held at the VFW Post #4906, 2161 Consaul Street. Contributions in Dan's name are appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
