I worked for Dr. Bennett in Toledo. It was a joy to come to the office every morning! Dr. B called a couple of square dances at my wedding.....He was one of a kind!

I worked with Dr. Dave at Kalitta and enjoyed his company so. He was one who could come into our Dispatch Department and light up the place with a joke and a smile. That is what we could always count on! You will be missed and thought of often Dr. Bennett. Hats off to you - - Rest in Peace, we will meet again someday until then I will only think of all of the good times and laughs that we shared over the years thanks to your great contribution in helping others find their sense of humor in a stressful environment any day of the week :)

I worked with Dave as a Flight Nurse with Kalitta Air Ambulance in the late 90's - went on some great trips with Dave to Europe. Dr. Bennett was the best! I live in Toledo and so did Dave when we flew together.

I set the brakes on gate 18A in Houston Intercontinental airport about 2 hours ago. My wife called me as I was shutting down the airplane, and told me the news. When I got to my room I got a message from Larry telling me the same news, Dave was gone. Another friend in a list that is growing too long. In my life I have met a handful of people that I truly enjoyed, people that I can relax around without worry. Dave was one of them. I went on a precious few adventures with him but they are all fondly etched in my mind. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I really enjoyed his company and will miss him.

Brian Lisa and Brent, The neighborhood was never the same! We all had a blast! Snow rides on the back of his bumper jumping up in the bed of his truck or staying up all night listening to ghost stories ! Love to you all! Beth Glore

Jonathan, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. We will never forget all the great memories we have of him. Especially our trip to NYC when he bought that hideous orange hat in a gas station and wore it EVERYWHERE! Love and prayers sent to you.

So sorry for your loss. Dr. Bennett delivered my daughter Heather in 1969 at Parkview Hospital. And unfortunately had to give her the news that her dad had passed away at St. Charles Emergency Room thirty years later. What a comfort he was to her. It was such a joy to have known him.
