LaDonna Nevers Obituary
LaDonna J.
LaDonna J. Nevers, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Lutheran Home at Wolf Creek with loving family by her side. She was born on August 9, 1938 to Ledra and Lillian (Dubendorfer) Vernier in Toledo. LaDonna graduated from Whitmer High School. She enjoyed baking, had a great sense of humor and always stood her ground. LaDonna loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Arthur Nevers Jr.; brother, Jerry Vernier; and sister, Sharon McKay. LaDonna is survived by her loving children, John (Diane) Nevers, Timothy (Wanda) Nevers, Arthur (Jane) Nevers, III, Karen (Bruce) Shane and Gaylene Nevers; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three on the way; brother, James Vernier; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive guests on Monday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider a charity of the donor's choice.
