My condolences to the family. I worked with Michael at Orchid BioSciences about 15 years ago. From the first time I met him, he was someone who just "made your day". Always a cheerful word, a helpful hand and his warming smile. His wit was first class and his charm was a close second. He was a great guy who made a difference and many people share in my sorrow in hearing this sad news. We shared some common interests like the Yankees and The Grateful Dead. May the road rise to meet him and may the wind be always at his back. RIP Michael
