Ann Marie DiCola, 91 of Cabot, formerly of Vandergrift, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. Born May 26, 1921, in Noci, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Martino and Apalonia (Franchinni) Roberto and lived most of her life in Vandergrift. A homemaker, Mrs. DiCola was a member of St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and Rosary Society of the church and the former Son's of Italy Club, all in Vandergrift, and the Italian Sons and Daughters of America. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed playing cards. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sebastian DiCola, who died May 21, 1982; three brothers, Arthur, John and Nate Roberto; and her daughter-in-law, Rosemarie (Catalino) DiCola. Survivors include a daughter, Rose Ann (Leonard DiGiacomo) DiCola, of Gibsonia; three sons, Theodore "Ted" (Ruth) DiCola, of Selinsgrove, Robert DiCola, of Leechburg, and John DiCola, of Vandergrift; grandchildren, Kristin (Dr. Matthew) Krebs, of Littlestown, Rachel DiCola, of North Bergen, N.J., Brian DiCola, of Washington D.C., Daniel DiCola, of Selinsgrove, and Allison DiCola, of Harrisburg; great-grandson, Benjamin Ryan Krebs, of Littlestown; and two sisters, Pauline Seben, of York, and Rita Moliterno, of Port Matilda. The family welcomed friends in the BRADY-CURRAN FUNERAL HOME and CREMATION SERVICES INC., 429 Franklin Ave., Vandergrift. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, Vandergrift, with Father James Loew, OSB, as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Vandergrift.
