William Sutch Obituary

William E. Sutch, 76, of Ligonier, died Thursday morning, Dec. 15, 2005, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Saturday, Nov. 16, 1929, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Wendell Hamilton Sutch and Sylvia Enos Sutch Kamke. He and his wife had owned and operated the former Adorn Drapery Cleaners Inc. in Dormont for more than 20 years. He most recently had been employed by Giant Eagle in Latrobe for more than 10 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Carol D. Vincent Sutch; two daughters, Lynne Marie Price and her husband, John, of Ligonier, and Kimberly R. Sutch, of Hyde Park; two beloved grandsons, Jeffrey John and Joshua John Price; and a brother, James H. Sutch, of Daytona Beach, Fla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Walter Kamke; a daughter, Susan Diane Arbuckle; and a sister, Evelyn Edwards. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of serivce Tuesday in the J. PAUL McCRACKEN FUNERAL CHAPEL INC., 144 E. Main St., Ligonier, with Rev. J. Paul McCracken officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one's choice.
