Hope A. Erikson

Hope A. Eirkson, 92, of Hershey, formerly of North Hills, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Lebanon Valley Brethren Home, Palmyra. Born in Finleyville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Edith Kuchinic Angemeer. Hope was the loving wife of the late Warren S. Eirkson, who died in July of 1989. She worked as support staff for the Mclntyre Center in North Hills. Hope was known for her beautiful ceramic work that she created over the years. Her interests included golf and playing bridge with friends. Hope also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Tionesta, Forest County. Surviving are a son, John W., husband of Grace Doherty Eirkson, of Hershey; four grandsons, Jonathan, Jason, James and Joseph; and four great-grandchildren, Alexander, Emerson, Liliana and Warren. Preceding her in death were four brothers, Charles, Donald, Cyril and James Angemeer.
Family and friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8:15 to 9 a.m. Tuesday at GEORGE A. THOMA FUNERAL HOME INC., 10418 Perry Highway, Wexford. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Sebastian Church, Ross Township.
