I am so sorry. I fondly remember your Dad from the PRRT&HS meetings. We shared a love of trains and the KofC. That's a wonderful picture to remember him by.

Carl was a true gentleman. I had the privilege of meeting Carl through the PRRT&HS and learned that he was a fraternity brother and father of Carl Jr., who was also a fraternity brother that I had previously known. Small world!

In speaking of the Pittsburgh chapter of the PRRT&HS, Carl always referred to himself as "president for life" and reported "progress." He would present his report at the annual meeting and start by saying "I am standing up!"

Carl's wit will be remembered for a long time. My thoughts are with the family.
