Jack K. Paton, 90, of Murrysville, died Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016. He was born June 17, 1925, in Sewickley, son of the late John and Mary Paton. He was a longtime Murrysville resident and founded the Murrysville Swim Club and a founding member of the Murrysville Telephone Company. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the Marines. He was the owner of JKB Tire Company in Murrysville for more than 27 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eve Thomas Paton, in 2013; and his daughter, Deborah Paton, on Jan. 2, 2016. Jack is survived by a daughter, Pamela Paton, of Palm Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jamie (Greg) Schneider, of Gibsonia, and Jack Basilone (Kevin McClatchy), of Ligonier; and two great-grandchildren, Paton and Ralston.
Visitation from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016, at the HART FUNERAL HOME INC., Murrysville, with a service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be private in the Murrysville Cemetery.
