David L. Fyock

1947 - 2016

David L. Fyock, 68, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016, in UPMC Presbyterian. He was born Sept. 9, 1947, in Windber, a son of the late Louis and Dorothy (Nunamaker) Fyock. He was employed by the Hempfield Area School District. He was an Army veteran and a member of the Youngwood Sportsman Club and the NRA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded n death by his wife, Kathleen J. Fyock, on Nov. 12, 2013; and a brother, Terry. He is survived by three daughters, Kristin Fyock and Barry Mull, of Jeannette, Meghan Krieger, of Greensburg, and Kate Betler and her husband, Jared, of Greensburg; four grandchildren; two sisters, Miriam Bivins and her husband, James, of North Carolina, and Lynn Fyock, of Indiana, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton St., Greensburg, where a funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert A. Free officiating.
