Dorothy E. (Cox) Fox, 82, of North Huntingdon, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, in Baldock Health Care Centre. She was born Aug. 6, 1927, in Turtle Creek, a daughter of the late Albert E. and Naomi (Page) Cox. She was also preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. Albert Cox; and stepmother, Bessie (Bailey) Cox. She had formerly worked at G.C. Murphy Co. for several years and enjoyed retirement with her husband in Florida and belonging to several motor home clubs. Surviving are her husband, Robert H. Fox Sr.; children, Karen Freise and her husband, Bill, of North Huntingdon, Robert H. Fox Jr., of Colorado, Thomas Fox and his wife, Sue, of Manassas, Va., Daryl Fox and his wife, Dana, of Greensburg, Kevin Fox and his wife, Denise, of Trafford, and Earl Fox and his wife, Anke, of Morganton, N.C.; grandchildren, Ian Fox, Jennifer Johnston, Tom and Graham Fox, Jill Perego, Jodie Nemeth, Ed Freise, Amy Mazon and Kevin, Jason, Matt and Eric Fox; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings, Earl W. Cox and his wife, Verna, and the Rev. John C. Cox and his wife, Dora, both of Asbury Heights; sister-in-law, Ruth Cox, of Williamsport; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200. Additional viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday in Norwin Alliance Church, 10585 Farview Drive, North Huntingdon, with services following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Robert Daniels officiating.
