Estella Renzi Obituary

Estella Marie "Stella" Renzi, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Rehab and Nursing Center in Greensburg. She was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Uniontown, a daughter of the late Ethan A. Sr. and Alice B. Posten Hall. Stella was a member of St. Rita Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville. She was formerly employed by Anchor Hocking Glass Factory for nine years. She was a life member of Three - Thirteen C.B. Radio Club Inc. She liked attending bingo games, crafts and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Stella is survived by her daughter with whom she resided, Marian L. Deaver, also of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Sheila Hart and husband, Michael, of Mt. Pleasant, and Robert Deaver Jr. and wife, Amy, of Connellsville; great-grandchildren, Michael Hart Jr., Cody Hart and Nickolas Hart; and sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Corrine) Krichbaum, of Uniontown, and Mrs. Elmer (Thelma) Mosako, of Uniontown. In addition to her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, Gaetano F. "Guy" Renzi, Feb. 4, 1992; a son-in-law, Robert E. Deaver Sr., Nov. 13, 2007; sisters, Mrs. Samuel (Hattie) Gaskill; and her twin sister, Esther Hall; and brothers, Ethan A. Hall Jr., Ernest Hall and Samuel Hall. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville. A blessing service will be held at noon Friday in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Rita Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Bonafed as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greenridge Memorial Park.
