Coleman S. Tomasiak, 82, of Perryopolis, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born in Donora on July 21, 1930, he was the son of the late Coleman J. and Mary (Fabianich) Tomasiak. Coleman worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel where he retired after 30 years. He was a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township and Disabled Veterans of America. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his son, Charles Tomasiak of Morgantown, W.Va.; daughter, Sherry Weiss of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Hailey, Lauren, Luke, Ryan and Nicole; former wife, Arlene Yerkey of Jefferson Hills; and his significant other, Peggy Wyder of Perryopolis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Tomasiak. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 27, in the JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Belle Vernon/Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, http://www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a blessing service will be held Tuesday, May 28 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass in the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. James Bump as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Dominic Cemetery, Donora.
