Sister Mary Claver Koziatek

Sister Mary Claver Koziatek, 89, a member of the Felician Sisters of Moon Township for 70 years, died Monday, June 24, 2013. Sister was a native of New Kensington, and was a daughter of the late Mary (Rachupka) and Joseph Koziatek. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Alex, Harry and Joseph. Sister Mary Claver is survived by her brother, Thomas Koziatek, and a sister, Theresa Smutsky, both of New Kensington; the following nieces: Rita, Tina and Catherine; nephews, Adam and Mark; grandnieces, Riley and Marlee; and more than 1,500 Felician Sisters. Friends will be received from 2 until 8 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Felician Sisters Central Convent, 1500 Woodcrest Ave., Coraopolis, with a wake service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 28, in the Convent Chapel.
