Nee Family, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband/father. My parents always spoke so fondly of him. We are vacationing out of the country currently, otherwise I would've been to the funeral home. Take care of yourselves and hold on to the memories. Gabriella Coury Ben

To the entire Nee family:

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Joe moving furniture during 5 college summers and years. He made a very hard job fun, brought out the best qualities in all, and taught me many life lessons early in my youth. He was one of the finest men I ever met!

May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry for the entire Nee family on the loss of your father and husband.
I was college roommates with Ellen & spend many, many days and nights at the house and felt like one of the family always. There was never a dull moment and we shared lots of laughs
You will be truly missed,

My condolences to the entire Nee family on Joe's passing. I had the privilege of playing for Coach Nee and while I wasn't a star, he made sure that all his players were treated with dignity and respect. Like St. Joseph, the foster father of Jesus, Coach Nee was a craftsman. However, while St. Joseph crafted wood and stone, Coach Nee crafted his player's hearts and souls and prepared us to be husbands, fathers and community leaders. There is no doubt in my mind that Coach Nee's impact on his players lasted long after their playing days on the court.May God bless you all as you go through this difficult time in your lives.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.
Psalm 116:15

With the sorrow in our hearts as we think about the death of one close to us, Lord, remind us of the joy that You are experiencing as our loved one enjoys the pleasures of heaven, and allow this to give us hope and comfort.

"A sunset in one land is a sunrise in another"......enjoy that sunrise, Uncle Joe!
