Well kiddo, time marches on and we all have our time to go. Ironic that Daisy and Mom both went with cancer and they also had hospice to thank. In case all of you who are reading this are wondering who this person is.....MY family and Max's family grew us as neighbors in Puyallup a very long time ago. Max was once one of my very best friends....then they moved to Tacoma and we ran into each other occasionly. but we were all like brother and sisters,,,, I see by the obituary, he still has a younger sister.I would love to contact her and talk about the days while we were growing up. Have a freedom now Max and enjoy being able to visit with your mom and dad and all your family. Peace be with you and all the remaing family that you are leaving behind...Im as old as you are + a little......looking forward to that old reunion in the sky...Ginny

IT SEEMS SO STRANGE TO KNOW THAT MAX HAS GONE. I MUST SAY THAT DURING THE PAST 6 MONTHS WAYNE AND I HAVE SEEN A DIFFERENT MAN EVOLVE DURING MAX'S BATTLE WITH A VERY RARE FORM OF CANCER. HE ALWAYS KEPT HIS SPIRITS UP, AND WELCOMED HOSPICE INTO HIS HOME FOR ASSISTANCE. WHEN MAX BECAME UNABLE TO BE ALONE WAYNE AND I MOVED IN TO THE SPARE ROOM AND ASSISTED HIM UNDER THE GUIDENCE OF HOSPICE. MAX WAS KIND, CURTIOUS, YET FURSTRATED WITH THE IDEA THAT HIS CANCER WAS RAVAGEING HIS BODY. I FEEL BLESSED THAT THE LAST DAY HE SPOKE HE TOLD LESLIE COMFORT, OF HOSPICE AND MYSELF (KAREN) THAT HE LOVED US. I FOUND THE LAST DAYS TO BE OF A GENTLER TIME AND ON SATURDAY MORNING WHEN MAX PASSED WENDY (DAUGHTER), WAYNE (SON) AND I (KAREN) WERE AT HIS SIDE. I DO HOPE THAT HE IS SMILING DOWN ON US WITH ALL HIS FAMILY AND FRIENDS WHO HAD GONE BEFORE HIM AT HIS SIDE.
