Mary Snyder Obituary

MARY LOUISE SNYDER Mary Louise (Klemme) Snyder, 94, passed away on April 19, 2011 in University Place. She was born on February 18, 1917 in Tacoma, WA to Carl Phillip Klemme and Ethel Mae Healy. Mary graduated from Aquinas and later married Robert "Bob" Snyder. They lived in and around the Tacoma area all of their nearly sixty years of marriage. They had four children, Carl "Bud" (Marlene) Snyder, Marilyn (John) Nofzinger, Robert Jr "Bob" (Twyla) Snyder and Carolyn (John) Berglund. She had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Family was at the heart of Mary's life. Mary was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo church in Tacoma and had served on the Grief Committee in recent years and in the Altar Society in past years and always found comfort in her Catholic faith. She had also been an active member of the Lemons Beach Orthopedic Guild. Mary was preceded in death by her husband Bob, grandson John L. Nofzinger, Jr, brother Carl Klemme, and special friend, Al. Mom was a very special mother and we will miss her dearly. She loved life and lived it to the fullest! A Funeral Mass will be at St. Charles Borromeo church Wednesday, April 27th, 2011 at 11:00 AM, 7112 S. 12th St., Tacoma.
