FRANCES BAYNE Obituary

Frances Bayne Age 77, passed away May 24, 2013 at her home in Tacoma, WA. She was born on April 22, 1936 in Armgh, Ireland to Albert E. and Isabel (Gillespie) Simmonds. She worked for over 30 years at the Army/Air Force Exchange. Frances enjoyed bingo, crocheting, dancing and her travels as a military wife. She also served in the British Army. Family and friends will remember Frances as a down-to-earth, intense woman who had a marvelous sense of humor, huge smile, and was a Mother to all. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Melvin D. Bayne; children Isabel Azores, Robert Dennis, Donna Gonzales, Doris Mendoza, Karen Chapman, Carol Psaute, and Joanna McPhatter; brother Kenneth Simmonds; 16 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives in Australia, Germany, Ireland, England, and the United States. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Mountain View Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 1-9:00 pm at Mountain View Funeral Home, and prior to the graveside on Saturday from 8:00 am-1:15 pm. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
