Alexander Reed Obituary

Alexander Reed, Sr. Of Tacoma, WA, passed away at Madigan Army medical Center on 10 May 2011. He served in the U.S. Army for over 23 years and worked as a civilian employee at the Madigan Army Hospital Dining Facility Alexander's military career provided opportunities to serve in many locations. As a result of Fort Lewis being his final tour of duty, he chose Tacoma as the perfect place of retirement for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Georgia, and four children, Virginia Queen (Herbert) of GlenBurnie, MD, Dorothy Brown (Joseph) of Baltimore MD, Stella Beil (Arthur) of Tacoma WA, and Alexander Reed Jr. (Shawn) of Kent WA, and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Saint John's Baptist Church, 2001 S J St, Tacoma WA on Mon., May 16, 2011 at 11:30am, with visitation Sunday at House of Scott from 3-7pm. Services provided by The House of Scott Funeral and Cremation Service, 1215 MLK Jr. Way, Tacoma WA 98405, (253) 572-9555
