Anna Gilbert Obituary

Anna Marie Gilbert Marie, 92, passed away on May 13, 2011, one day before her 93rd birthday. We know she had a wonderful birthday because she celebrated it with our Lord Jesus. Anna was born in Ingamar, Montana to her parents, Flossie and Adolf Lee. Our mother moved to Tacoma when she was a child. She lived in the Manitou area, and attended Tacoma Schools. She had four siblings, all now deceased. She married our father, Delmer Gilbert (who died in 1997), and they had celebrated 62 years together. She had ten children, Robert, Jerry (Boots), Judie Pimlott (Ray), Jan Morris (Jim), Joan Pirone (Victor), Joyce Sommer (Otto), Rita O'Dell, Dave (Kristy), Dale (Teri), and Jeanette, deceased at 4 years old, who died of meningitis. She has 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Our mother spent the last 5 months at the Life Care Center (Puyallup), where she received excellent care - we thank all the staff. Memorial services will be on June 11, 2011, 2-4pm, at Faith Family Church, 1702 Milton Way, Milton.

Fresh pies, beautiful flowers and smiles to match..always a lady and such a kind (and fiesty) soul. One can never forget how special each and everyone of our memories are to us and to our children. She will forever be in our hearts, God is so lucky to have her.
