August "Bill" William Grein August William Grein was born in Cheney, Washington to Josephine & Forest Spracklin on January 2, 1939. He passed away on Thursday, March 31st, 2011 at St. Clare Hospital Lakewood, WA. He attended Springdale High School. On September 7, 1979 he married Karen Clowers in Buckley, WA. They have resided in Roy, WA for the last 8 years and 20 years in Puyallup. Bill had worked as a Shipyard Pipefitter for many years. He was active in Terrestrial Mt. View Masonic Lodge #228 in Yelm, and enjoyed doing charity work: Bikes for Books & Chips. Surviving are his wife, Karen, sons, Christopher, Dusty and Brandon Grein, daughters, Michelle Turner and Cricket Grein, brothers, LeRoy Grein, Larry, Jarry and Jim Spracklin, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by sisters, Lorraine Canham, Arlene Blake, brothers Chuck Spracklin and Wallace Grein, and his parents. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Steilacoom Masonic Lodge #2, 5405 So Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, WA.
